The Ridgeback Club of Canada’s 5th Annual National Specialty will be held in association with the Essex County Kennel Club, in Leamington, Ontario, just outside of Windsor. Along with this RRCC Specialty, the Ridgeback Club of Eastern Canada’s regional specialty being held at the same venue on Sunday August 31st, and 4 days of All Breed shows, there will be 6 SETS OF POINTS AVAILABLE for ridgebacks that weekend!
Not only are there 6 sets of points available, but the opportunity to show off your dogs to our judge, Liz Megginson, who is a breeder judge from South Africa. Ms. Megginson was also the judge at the prestigious Crufts dog show in England this year. Our sweeps judge, Pat Pollard, is a past breeder of ridgebacks and lives in Ontario.

There are blocked rooms under Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Eastern Canada. Rates are $109.00 + tax per night. No extra charge for dogs. There will be a "doggie goodie bag" for each RR guest, and a grooming area and outdoor pet relief stations provided. Reservations by August 8, 2008 3:00 to secure group rate. Group Id “HRC”

TROPHY DONATIONS:
Donations to the trophy fund are always greatly appreciated. All donors will have their names and kennels listed in the catalogue and donations of $50 will receive a free half page ad in the catalogue. Donation of $100 will have one free dinner included.
BEST RIDGE CONTEST:
There will be a Best Ridge Contest after BISS judging on Saturday. Entry fee is $5 and registrations will be taken on the day of the show. There will be a sign up sheet available.
CATALOGUE ORDERS
(RRCC will be having their own catalogue):
Ads must be camera ready, B&W only. Full page ad is $25, half page ad is $15. Bonus: 2 full page ads for $40. A free catalogue will be given to all full page orders. Deadline for ads submissions is Wed. July 30th. Ads should be sent to Diane Waters at wheatenridgeken@sympatico.ca
SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER BUFFET:
After the show join members, exhibitors and friends for a relaxing evening and dinner buffet at the host hotel at 6:30pm.
The cost of the dinner is $25 and advanced ticket purchase is required. (Only a very few will be available for purchase at the show). Please email your intentions to join us for dinner by contacting Leah Hogan at
